 CHOCOLATE PEDA

This is a very simple recipie. You can make within 10 minutes and kids will be loving it.


 Ingredients:

1. Milk Powder  - 1.5 cups
2. Condensed Milk - 1/2 cup
3. Cocoa Powder  - 3 Tbsp
4. Butter  -  3 Tbsp

In a bowl mix milkpowder, condensed milk, cocoa powder and butter and make a dough. Mould them in desired shapes. Refriegerate for half an hour.  Yummy pedas are ready!!!!!

DRY CAULIFLOWER 


This subzi is very simple to make and those who are health conscious, this curry is very apt for them as it has  ginger,garlic,chilly grinded mixture which is the only masala which is added to this dish. 

Ingredients:

1. Cauliflower florets - 1 cup
2. Onion  -   1 (Chopped)
3. Tomato -  1 (Chopped)
4. Ginger   -  Small Piece
5. Garlic  - 3 flakes
6. Green chilly -  3 nos
7.Salt - Required qty
8.Mustard seeds  - 1 tsp
9. Oil - 1tsp
10. Coriander leaves - Little


Pour oil in a pan and put some mustard seeds. When it splutters add chopped onion and saute it. Then add tomato and when it sauted well, add cauliflower florets and saute it. Cover with a lid and let it cook in a medium flame for 7 to 8 minutes. In the mean time grind the ginger,garlic and chilly to a paste. Add this paste and let it cook for 5 more minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.



 PUFFED RICE UPMA




Ingredients:

1. Poha            -  2 Cups
2. Onion           -  1 (chopped)
3.Tomato          -  1 (chopped)
4. Chilly            -  2  (chopped)
5. Tamarind water - 1 table spoon     
6. Coriander Leaves  - Little
7. Mustard - 1 tsp
8. Oil  - 1 tsp
9. Salt - Required amount

Wash the puffed rice and strain it and keep it aside. Pour oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and add the chopped onions and chilly and saute it well. Then add tomatoes and once it becomes sauted well add the puffed rice and salt to it and reduce the flame. Add tamarind water and keep it for one minute.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Bittergourd dry 


Bittergourd Dry Subzi

 Ingredients:

Bittergourd   -  4 pcs (Chopped)
Onion           -  1 (Chopped)
Tomato        -   1 (Chopped)
Ginger          -   Small
Garlic           -   2 flakes
Green Chilly -   3 nos 
Tamarind      -   Gooseberry size
Mustard       - 1/2 spoon
Oil for seasoning


Pour oil in a kadai and season it with mustard seeds. When it splutters add onion and saute well. Add Tomatoes and saute. Grind ginger, garlic and green chilly and add the paste and saute everything well. Add the chopped bittergourd to it and cover it with lid and cook in a low flame for 20 minutes. 

Add tamarind water after 20 minutes and stir it and cook till dry. It goes well with chapathi & plain rice.

Long Beans

Long Beans:



 Ingredients:
Long Beans - 1 Bunch
Onion          - 1 (Chopped)
Tomato       -  1 (Chopped)
Ginger         - Small Piece
Garlic          - 2 flakes
Green Chilly - 3 pcs
Mustard       -  1/2 spoon
Oil               - 1 tsp


Cut the Long beans 1/2 inch in size.  In a Kadai, pour some oil and put mustard seeds and let it splutter. Put Onion and stir fry followed by tomato. Saute them well. In the meantime grind ginger,garlic and chilly to fine paste. Add this paste and saute well. Add the cut long beans to it and stir fry for 1 min and lower the stove to sim and cover with the lid. Let it cook for about 20 minutes in low flame.

Open the lid after 20 minutes and stir fry for 1 minute and the subzi is ready :)

BADUSHA

Badusha


Ingredients:

1. Maida               -  1.5 cups
2. Butter               - 1/4 cups
3. Sugar               -  2 tsp
4. Curd                -   3 tablespoon
5. Baking Soda   -  1 tsp
6. Sugar              -  1.5 cups
7. Water              - Required amount


Take butter in a bowl and warm it and add sugar, baking soda and curd and mix well. Add maida to the mixture and mix well. The add little water and make a soft dough. Keep it aside for 20 minutes. Make a round balls and press slightly in the middle as shown below:



 Keep a pan in the stove with water and add sugar and boil it. When it thickens to one string consistency off the stove and let it cool down.

Heat oil in the pan and deep fry the badhushas as shown below:

 Once it cools down, add the sugar syrup on the fried badhushas and keep it for half hour.

 Tasty Badhushas ready!!!!!
