Chapathi

Chapathi


CHAPATHI

Ingredients:

1. Wheat Flour - 1 cup
2. Water - As needed to knead a dough
3. Salt - 1 tsp
4. Oil - 1 tsp

How to Prepare:

Mix all the above ingredients and knead well to form a soft dough. Keep it for 1 hour.

Make it into small balls and roll it with the roller as shown below





Put this in tawa and when the small brown spots comes turn it over the other side.



When the brown spots appears remove the tawa, put it directly in the stove in a high flame. It will puff up. Remove it and apply ghee. (Ghee is optional but it adds an extra flavour)

Soft Chapathis are ready!!!! Serve it hot with gravies and salad.
