Ingredients:
1. Cabbage - 1 cup
2. Carrot - 1 cup
3. Onion - 1
4. Garlic- 2 pods
5. Green chilly - 1
6. Curry leaves - few
7. Coconut - 3 tbsps (Grated)
8. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
How to Prepare:
Chop the onion, carrot and onion nicely to small pieces. I used my food processor to do the chopping work.
Chop the green chilly and garlic and keep it side. Take a bowl and mix the chopped carrot, cabbage, onion, garlic, green chilly. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, when it splutters add the chopped garlic and green chilly. Add the mixture and saute it for a minute. Add salt, curry leaves, turmeric powder and grated cocunut and mix well. Cover it with a lid and cook for 7-8 minutes in a low flame. Serve hot with rice.
