I like cakes and have made many cakes out of cake mixes. But this is my first cake I made from the scratch till the end including icing. Its a very simple cake made without eggs. It turned out well and cant express the exitement I got. The yummy chocolaty texture!!!. Everyone in my family liked it. It made me so content and happy.You can see more of my bakes in the future :)
Ingredients:
1. Maida - 11/2 cup
2. Cocoa Powder - 4 tbsp
3. Sugar - 3/4 cup
4. Buttermilk - 3 tbsp
5. Baking soda - 1tsp
6. Oil - 1 tsp
For Icing:
1. Chocolate - 2 Bars
2. Butter - 2 tbsp
How to Prepare:
In a bowl, pour the buttermilk and baking soda and keep it aside. Take a bowl add maida and cocoa powder and mix well. Boil water in a pan add sugar mix well. After the sugar get dissolved add water and add to the maida-cocoa mixture. Add the buttermilk and mix well until there are no lumps and comes to a smooth consistency. Pour the batter in a bowl and microwave for 5-6 minutes. Take a fork and prick in the cake and if the fork comes out clean, then the cake is cooked and ready. Allow it to cool. For the icing, take a bowl and add the chocolate and butter and microwave for a minutes. Mix well. Icing is ready. Apply on the cake and set it for 5-10 minutes. You can decorate with chocolate balls. I used used wafers in the middle. Yummy chocolate cake is ready!!!!!

Mix well. Microwave it for 5-6 minutes Prick with the fork to see cake is cooked
Allow the cake to cool. Take it out and keep it on the plate.
For Icing:
Take chocolate and butter in a bowl Microwave for a minute and mix well
Apply the chocolate icing on the cake Spread evenly
Decorate it with wafers
Chocolate cake is ready !!!!!
