Rava Dosa


Rava Dosa

Ingredients:

1. Rice flour - 2 cups
2. Rava - 3/4 cup
3. Maida - 3 tbsps
4. Green Chilly - 1
5. Black Pepper - 1 tbsp
6. Jeera - 1 tbsp
7. Buttermilk - 1 cup
8. Water & Salt

How to Prepare:

Take a bowl and mix all the above said ingredients and make a thin dosa batter. Heat a dosa pan and spread a little oil and pour a little batter from the corner of the pan to the middle and then fill in the gaps. Make it crispier both the sides. Serve hot with chutney and sambar.

Achari Paneer


Achari Paneer

Ingredients:

1. Paneer - 1 cup
2. Onion - 1
3. Capsicum - 1
4. Tomato - 1
5. Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
6. Dry chillies - 5
7. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
8. Methi seeds - 1 tsp
9. Jeera - 1.5 tsp
10. Coriander seeds - 1tbsp

How to Prepare:

Add oil in the kadai and add the dry red chillies. Add mustard seeds, methi seeds, jeera and coriander seeds and fry them and keep it aside. Chop the tomato and capsicum. When it cools, grind it to a smooth paste along with the tomato and capsicum. Chop the onion.  Heat oil and add the chopped onions and saute. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute well. Add the grinded paste and cook for 3 minutes. Add the paneer and cover it and cook for another 5-6 minutes. When the gravy thickens, switch off the flame. Achari paneer goes well with roti annd rice.

Vanilla Cupcake

Vanilla Cupcake



Ingredients:

1. All purpose flour - 1 cup
2. Sugar - 3/4 cup
3. Eggs - 2
4. Vanilla Essence - 1 tbsp
5. Milk - 1/4 cup
6. Butter - 1/4 cup

For Icing:

1.Cream Cheese - 1 cup
2. Icing Sugar - 1/2 cup
3. Peanut Butter - 4 tbsp

How to prepare:

Take all purpose flour in a bowl. Add sugar and eggs and whisk well. Add the vanilla essence. Add milk and butter and beat well. Add baking soda and beat well in a medium speed with a hand mixer till its fluffy and smooth. Pour the batter in the mould and put it in the oven for 3 to 4 minutes. For the icing, mix the cream cheese, icing sugar and the peanut butter amd beat well till its smooth. Once the cupcakes are cooled  dowm, do the peanut butter icing and serve.

Pasta in White Sauce


Pasta in white sauce

Ingredients:

1. Pasta - 1 cup
2. Chicken pieces - 1/4 cup
3. Milk - 1 cup
4. Whipping Cream - 1/2 cup
5. Parmesan Cheese - 1/4 cup
6. Pepper Powder - 1 tbsp
7. Butter - 1 tbsp
8. Basil Leaves - 1 tsp

How to prepare:

Boil the pasta and keep it aside. Heat oil in a kadai and fry the chicken pieces. Once cooked keep it aside.In a kadai add milk, whipped cream and parmesan cheese and stir it till the paste becomes thick. Add butter and the cooked chicken pieces to the white paste and stir it well. Add the pasta, pepper powder and basil leaves and stir it well and switch off the flame. Serve hot. If you want to serve later,  then before serving add hot milk and mix well.

Unniyappam

Unniyappam

Ingredients:

1. Rice flour - 1 cup
2. Jaggery - 1 cup
3. Bananas - 2
4. Black sesame seeds - 2 tsp
5. Ghee - 1 tbsp
6. Coconut pieces - 2 tsp
7. Oil

How to Prepare:

Boil the water and put jaggery pieces and melt it. Filter the water and keep it aside. Grind the bananas to a fine paste. Fry the coconut pieces in ghee. Take a bowl, add rice powder, fried coconut pieces, grinded banana paste, black sesame seeds, jaggery water and mix well to a idli batter form. Keep it aside for 3- 4 hours. Heat oil in unniyappa chatti and pour the batter into the moulds. Once cooked and fried well, turn on the other side and fry well in a medium flame till it is brown and cooked well. Hot unniyappamss are ready to eat.

Melt the Jaggery                                                           Grind the bananas

Make it to a smooth paste                                             Fry the coconut pieces in ghee
Take rice flour and add the fried coconut pieces. Add the grinded banana and black sesame seeds
Add the jaggery water                                                   Mix well. It should be in the idli batter form.
Heat oil                                                                        Pour the batter and fry it till it is cooked

Once cooked turn on the other side and fry well                


Unniyapams are ready!!!!
