Murukku (Chakli)

Murukku (Chakli)

 Ingredients:

1. Rice powder - 1 cup
2. Roasted gram (Pottu kadalai) - 1/4 cup
3. Ajwain (Carom Seeds/Omam) - 1 tbsp
4. Salt
5. Oil for deep fry

How to prepare:

Mix the rice powder, roasted gram, ajwain and salt. Add the hot water to it and mix well and make a dough. Make murukku out of muruku maker and deep fry it in a medium flame. Once it becomes light brown take it out and spread it on a plate with tissue paper, so that any excess oil in the murukku will be absorbed. Crisy chaklis are ready to eat.
