Achappam


Achappam

Ingredients:

1. Maida - 1 cup
2. Rice Powder - 1 cup
3. Egg - 2
4. Black Sesame seeds - 2 tsp
5. Coconut Milk - 1 cup
6. Sugar - 3/4 cup

How to Prepare:

Take Maida and rice powder in a bowl and mix well. Add the eggs and mix again followed by black sesame seeds. Add sugar and coconut milk and little water and mix well. It should be in dosa batter form. Heat oil in a kadai and dip the achappam mould in it. When  the oil is hot,dip the mould in the batter and immediately dip in the oil and shake a little.. The achappam will come out from the mould easily if the mould is very hot. Fry the achappams. When you are frying the achappams, leave the mould in the oil itself. In this way the mould will be always hot.

Add egg to the rice powder & maida mix                  Add black sesame seeds

 Add coconut milk and sugar and mix well.Add the mould is dipped in hot oil for some time. Dip the mould in the batter

 From the batter immediately drop it the oil.             Shake the mould a little and it slides away


Achappams are ready to eat!!!!
